Why does a perfume's fragrance spread around the room?

In the case of the perfume fragrance, the gas molecules move from the area with a high concentration (near the perfume bottle) to the surrounding areas with lower concentration. This spreading out of the gas molecules helps the perfume fragrance to be distributed evenly throughout the room, allowing us to smell the pleasant scent from all corners.
